“Compass Research, Educational and Consulting Center” NGO is implementing the formation of local groups in Akhuryan community within the framework of the “Participatory Budgeting for a Prosperous Community” program.

Functions of the local group:

to study the budget research of the Akhuryan community and get acquainted with the existing problems,
taking into account the problems raised during the community meetings, to develop and submit proposals to the Akhuryan community council on the 2017 budget and the 2017-2021 five-year development program.

Before implementing the above functions, the local group members will participate in trainings on the following topics:

“Local self-government”,

“Budget process”,

“Participatory budgeting”.

To be included in the local group, it is necessary:

be a resident of Akhuryan community,
be born before January 1, 2001,
be interested in the budget of Akhuryan community.
