“Compass” Scientific Research, Educational and Consulting Center” NGO is looking for a Management Information System Expert/Expert Services Organization to join the “CapSLoc: Capable and Sustainable Community-Based Development” Project team.

Job description:

Fulfillment of the duties of a Management Information System Expert within the framework of the “CapSLoc: Capable and Sustainable Community-Based Development” project implemented by “Compass” Scientific Research, Educational and Consulting Center” NGO.

Reports to: “Compass” Scientific Research, Educational and Consulting Center” NGO, Project Team Leader

Job Responsibilities:

Analysis, evaluation of Akhuryan’s management information system, identification of existing problems

Collection of databases subject to analysis, development of the necessary methodology

Periodic development and submission of proposals for improving Akhuryan’s management information system

Development of documents on the management information system.

Monitoring the implementation of the proposals made and evaluating the results

Provide leadership, support and mentorship to team members, encouraging their professional development in the field.

As necessary and requested, assume other responsibilities in the NGO.

Requirements for the necessary skills presented to the Management Information System Expert.

Higher education in engineering, computer science or related fields

Experience in management information systems or software engineering (several years of experience is an advantage) or experience in leading engineering teams and projects in a related technical field.

Good knowledge of management information systems or software development methodologies, tools and processes.

Minimum 5 years of programming experience

Experience in consulting.

Experience working with communities.

Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.

Experience in organizing and conducting learning processes.

Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.

Punctuality and attention to detail, analytical skills.

Ability to work with databases.

Excellent written and oral knowledge of the Armenian language.
