The Compass Research, Educational and Consulting Center NGO, with the support of the International Visegrad Foundation, successfully organized the international conference on “Civic Participation, Data Visualization and Local Self-Government”.

The conference focused on local budgeting, successful experiences, challenges and difficulties in visualizing budgets. The conference participants discussed how data visualization can guide budget spending control, increase the efficiency of local government, and motivate citizens to participate in decision-making processes.
