On May 10, 2019, the final event of the presentation of the results of the “Participatory Monitoring for Quality Public Utilities in Gyumri” program took place in the large hall of the Nane Hotel.
During the event, the results of the monitoring conducted in the fields of garbage collection and lighting in Gyumri were presented, and the reports summarizing the results were presented (see links to the reports below). The presentation of the results was followed by an active question-and-answer discussion, opinions were expressed, suggestions were made, and future actions were outlined.
The event was attended by members of the Gyumri Council of Elders, representatives of the Shirak Regional Administration and Gyumri Community Administration, community-owned structures operating in the mentioned areas, CSOs, business sector, citizen monitors, and other interested parties.
It should be noted that the project was implemented by the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center NGO within the framework of the “Protect Society for Responsible Governance” project. The initiative was made possible by the funding of the United States Agency for International Development.
