On March 20, 2026, the solemn ceremony of signing the sub-grant agreements for the protection of interests within the framework of the “Budgets for Citizens” program and the one-day mandatory training for sub-grantees took place. The program is implemented by the “Armenian Lawyers Association” NGO in cooperation with the “Center for Economic Development and Research” and “Agora Central Europe” organizations, with the financial support of the European Union.

During the event, sub-grant agreements were signed with a number of civil society organizations.

We, the “Compass” Scientific Research, Educational and Consulting Center NGO, will implement the following program:
“Expanding public participation and improving accountability in the budgetary process of higher education in the Republic of Armenia through an advocacy campaign.”

In the second part of the event, training was held, during which the main requirements for the content and financial management of the programs were presented.

The initiatives implemented within the framework of the project aim to promote public participation in budget processes, increase accountability and transparency, and strengthen the capacities of civil society․
